Ingredients:
1 ripe banana
1 cup fresh spinach leaves (washed)
1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
1/2 cup almond milk (or any other plant-based milk of your choice)
1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for extra nutrients)

Ice cubes (optional, for a colder smoothie)
Instructions:
Peel the banana and break it into chunks.
In a blender, add the banana chunks, fresh spinach leaves, frozen mango chunks, almond milk, chia seeds, and protein powder if using.
If you want a colder smoothie, add a handful of ice cubes to the blender.
Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add a little more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if needed by adding a small amount of maple syrup or another sweetener of your choice.

The blender I have used for the past 8 years is a Blendtec, I've recently purchased a Vitamix which I use at home the Blendtec is now at work so that I can make my smoothies at work! Someday I will write up a comparison because I do have a favorite!
